Spirited Cyclist

The 2012 24 Hours of Booty Ride opened for registration on Jan. 4th. The Spirited Cyclist Cycling Club has a team entered and already well on it’s way to achieving the team fundrasing goal of $10,000.

24 Hours of Booty is The Official 24 Hour Cycling Event of the Lance Armstrong Foundation. The Charlotte ride also benefits various local organizations.

Yes, this is a full 24 hour ride. The event is held near the Dilworth area and literally 1000′s of riders show up each year to show their support by participating.

We invite you to follow along with the Spirited Cycling & the I Ride for Kim team. The team is already training and making preparations for the event.

Support Team Spirited & I Ride for Kim

Every Halloween, the town of Davidson, NC hosts an event called Halloween March. Kids from the local community gather at the town hall and march down Main St. trick or treating with the local businesses.

This was our first opportunity to be involved in this activity at the Spirited Cyclist of Davidson. We gave out a lot of candy and also allowed kids to enter to win a bike. Hundreds of kids entered to win with the help of their parents.

The Staff at The Spirited Cyclist would like to congratulate Kate S. (4yrs old) of Davidson, NC.
Kate, her parents and Grandparents came into the shop and picked up her new pink Raleigh bike today. Kate rode about 50 laps around the store smiling the whole time.
