Road

Monday Night Social
When: Postponed - Spring 2023
Where: Bailey Road Park; meet at the parking lot by the basketball courts
Distance/Pace: 15 miles; Social ride with faster group options; no drop
Info: The F3 aka D9 Swell Riders lead a group out of Bailey Road Park that encourages all cyclists to come ride!
Depending on how big of a group there is, they may break off into an A, B, and C group. All abilities are welcome--they ride and regroup so that no one is left behind. Post-ride they cool off with a beer or two at D9 Brewing. D9 donates $1 for every beer to Bike MS, a fundraising initiative of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Wednesday Night
When: Postponed - See you in Spring 2023
Where: Meet in front of the Davidson shop in the Harris Teeter parking lot.
Distance/Pace: 16 miles; Moderate 16-18mph; no drop
*Note: While this is a no-drop ride and open to anyone on a road bike, it is not a beginner ride and the average group pace is 17mph.
Info: Meet in front of the Davidson shop in the Harris Teeter parking lot and we'll ride down Griffith, through downtown and catch the greenway.
From there, we'll ride through River Run neighborhood and turn onto Sheers. We'll come back on Presbyterian and head back into town for a 1+ hour ride. The terrain is rolling and we will regroup a few times throughout the ride.

Saturday Morning
When: Saturday 9:00am
Where: Meet in front of the Davidson shop in the Harris Teeter parking lot.
Distance/Pace: 32 miles; Moderate/Tempo 16-18mph no drop;
44 mile option - Faster pace 2 to 3 stops 19-20mph Group 2 - Group 2 no drop 21mph +

Info: Meet in front of the Davidson shop and we'll head down Griffith, take a left on main street head north through Mooresville and east through a loop into the River Run neighborhood and back into town for 2+ hours.
Ride leaders may split groups for longer rides, we often have a group that takes a longer route option around 50-60 miles. The terrain is rolling and we will regroup a few times throughout the ride.

Community Ride
When: Postponed
Where: Huntersville Shop
Distance/Pace: 6 miles; leisurely social ride
Info: Everyone is encouraged to come ride and all bikes are welcome! This is a casual ride meant to get everyone outside and riding bikes. We'll leave from the Huntersville shop and ride approximately 6 miles down the greenway and return to the shop.
*Lights and helmets are required!
Mountain

Thursday Night Trail

When: Thursday 8:30pm
Where: Lake Loop @ Whitewater Center
Info: Meet us in front of the Lake Loop entrance and we'll ride out from there! Lights are a requirement! We'll do a couple of miles and hang around for a few beers afteward.

Demo Day
When: First Sunday of every month
Schedule: 2023 dates TBA
Where: North Meck Park in Huntersville
Info: Demo Day is a FREE event that we host at North Mecklenburg Park in Huntersville. It's a great opportunity to test ride the latest mountain bikes on an actual trail. North Meck Park is a beginner trail that is approximately three miles long.
You're welcome to test ride multiple bikes, the only thing that you'll need to bring is an ID. We will have helmets available, but if you have one, we encourage you to bring it.
Gravel

Monthly Gravel Ride
Each month our sister shop in Statesville, First Flight Bikes, hosts a gravel fun ride.
Ride Date: Generally the 4th Sunday of the month except for September and March.
About the Route: The route changes every month but can always be found on the First Flight Strava Page.

Love Valley Roubaix
Race Date: Friday, March 20th - Sunday, March 22nd 2020
About the Route: Nestled at the base of the Brushy Mountains is the quaint old cowboy town of Love Valley, home to the Love Valley Roubaix.
Here you'll find 50+ miles of winding dirt-packed roads and gravel. There are two courses, both of which are approximately 60/40 dirt packed road/paved. And be sure to bring your climbing legs...you'll need them!
