Performance Upgrade Made Easy
The C38 brings carbon fiber high performance to the real world. It's a versatile all-rounder equally at home crushing gravel washboards and summiting alpine passes. Optimized for use with modern wide tires, providing the right amount of sidewall support to facilitate surefooted handling in all conditions, the C38 wheelset is a great handling, lively climbing, robust all-road performer that also aerodynamically outperforms many deeper, aero-specific rims that cost twice as much.
Carbon wheels are a true performance upgrade to any bike, but too often the price tag puts them out of reach. The Rapide C38 shatters that barrier and brings a class-leading Roval carbon rim and DT Swiss reliability together to provide riders with the best performance carbon wheel per dollar.

Zipp's 3ZERO MOTO carbon enduro/trail wheels are inspired by moto to provide riders with the control and durability required for pure speed. Moto remains a powerful source of inspiration for good reason. Based in the racing hotbed of Indy, Zipp for more than three decades has used motorsports as an inspiration to develop pioneering carbon cycling innovations. Our single-wall approach, what we call Moto Technology, allows the rims to "pivot" from either side of the spoke bed while traversing rough terrain. As the wheel encounters obstacles, each edge of the rim is designed for compliance, creating the feel of extra suspension. For the rider, that means durability and control for greater speed. Moto Inspired. Control + Durability = Speed.

In the early design phases of our Traverse Fattie 27.5, we recognized that the number of aluminum wheels that had the prowess to both shred rowdy descents and to provide the efficiency required of our Northern California testing grounds' relentless climbs were far and few between. We also came to realize that trail riders expect certain features in a super nimble, send-it-ready wheelset. And for the price, we found that alloy hit many of these expectations, while also keeping enough jingle-jangle in your wallet for a post-ride beverage.
Along with light overall weight, stiffness, and durability, another top priority for the Traverse was ease of use. First off, we got rid of the creaky straight-pull spokes and corrosion-prone alloy nipples. Next up, we landed on 28 J-bend spokes, for front and rear wheels, that are all the same length—making it easy to find replacements if needed. And finally, we engineered a new hub design, with a wider profile and higher flange to aid in overall stiffness.
We took the traditional 19- to 23-millimeter standard and moved it out to what we found worked best in testing—a whopping 30mm “Fattie” width. A wide rim does a variety of things for ride performance—it better supports the tire for increased confidence and grip, it affords you the ability to run lower pressures, and it spreads impact out over a larger surface area to reduce the risk of damage. We also added our Zero Bead hook design to the mix, and this ultimately aids in preventing “burps” during hard cornering, while also making tubeless set up quick and easy.
After developing what we found to be the perfect alloy trail wheels, we went farther down the perfection path, hand-lacing the rims to our own alloy hubs that allow for the same spoke length throughout the entire wheelset, via 28 DT Swiss Revolution J-Bend spokes and Pro Lock nipples. Inside our hubs, you'll find sealed cartridge bearings and DT Swiss 360 rear internals that'll keep you rolling smoothly for miles. We also wanted to ensure that each wheel was built correctly, so we built them by hand.
Each wheelset comes packaged with a SRAM XD-driver and a tubeless valve stem in order to make tubeless set-up a touch easier. Please note that Shimano freehubs are sold separately.

Zipp's 202 NSW Tubeless Disc-brake wheels packs a heavy load of performance into a light and nimble package. This wheel flies up the toughest climbs, shaves time off descents, and handles deftly off pavement. For aero performance, Zipp's ABLC Sawtooth dimple design extends to the rim's edge. The 202 NSW Tubeless Disc-brake is optimized for wide tires with lower tire pressure to meet the performance needs of modern riders in search of low rolling resistance and high compliance. With an internal width of 21mm, these wheels are well suited for rough roads, testing fastest with a 28mm tire in the majority of wind angles.
- Tubeless design provides secure performance when ridden at lower tire pressures
- Cognition DB hub features Axial Clutch technology to allow the freehub's ratcheting mechanism to deliver half the mechanical drag of conventional three-pawl hubs
- New Zipp graphics and cosmetic identity that scream speed, applied using Zipp's ImPress direct-print technology
- Center Lock rotor interface (lockring included)
- Ships with 12mm end caps

ENVE's most well-rounded road wheelset, the SES 3.4 is a climber with an aero edge. It's just the right depth to cover steep grades at speed.
Since its introduction in 2009, the Smart ENVE System 3.4 has established itself as ENVE's most versatile and consequently most popular carbon fiber aero road wheelset amongst road cyclists of all abilities. The new SES 3.4 is wider than its predecessor (27.5mm wide external, 21mm internal) to improve rolling resistance and improve aerodynamics for use with 25mm tires and is available in both rim and disc brake models. In addition to added width, the versatile and reliable nature of the SES 3.4 has been augmented by incorporating road tubeless tire compatibility. Road tubeless compatibility means improved rolling resistance, comfort, traction, and a reduced propensity for flat tires.
Like all SES models, the SES 3.4 features dissimilar rim shapes and geometries between front and back wheels to maximize aerodynamic efficiency and rideability in variable weather conditions. The front rim is 38mm deep and shallower than the rear rim to aid in crosswind stability while the rear rim is 42mm deep and therefore improves overall airflow attachment.
- Intended Use: Road
- Inner Rim Width: 21mm
- Aero Optimized Tire Size: 25c
- Rim and Disc Brake Models Available
- Tubeless Optimized; Tube Compatible
DISC BRAKE TECHNOLOGIES
GO FAST; STOP FAST:
The SES 3.4 Disc features a disc brake-specific carbon fiber rim design. In other words, this is not simply a rim brake model with no brake track. Each SES Disc rim features a disc brake-specific laminate to ensure optimal performance on disc brake-equipped road, cyclocross, and triathlon bicycles. As a result of disc brake-specific engineering the SES 3.4 Disc is substantially lighter than its rim-brake counterpart but equally as stiff and impact resistant. This is accomplished because we are able to deploy the carbon fiber that previously served the requirements for heat management to now serve the requirements for stiffness and durability.
Need to know:
- Disc-specific construction with no brake tracks
- Rims are lighter by 40-60g per rim
- Impact resistance increased
- Greater lateral stiffness
TUBELESS COMPATIBLE
SPEED, COMFORT, PROTECTION:
Greater speed, comfort, grip and puncture resistance – what's not to like about road tubeless? With the selection of a high performance tire at the right pressure, you can achieve lower rolling resistance and more speed. Tubeless also allows you to run much lower tire pressures for far greater comfort, traction, and efficiency, especially over poor road surfaces and gravel, all without sacrificing speed. The potential for pinch flats and, with sealant, debris punctures is all but eliminated.
ENVE recognized early that road tubeless technology is here to stay and we drew on our years of experience making the world's best mountain bike wheels to optimize the SES range for tubeless (excluding the current SES 4.5). With rims going wider and frames giving more tire clearance, the key aspects of bike design were aligned to make tubeless the best choice: wider rims make it easier to mount tubeless tires. Disc brakes add even more benefits for tubeless, typically allowing larger tires as well as removing issues of heat at the rim.
Need to know:
- Tubeless optimized design
- Faster rolling
- Higher grip
- Greater comfort
- Outstanding puncture resistance
